The workshop is set in Cote Brasserie, in St. Paul's, a French Bistro. The informal, fun and educational day-long wine workshop will see guests taken on a tour of world wines by leading industry expert and founder of Winfield Wines, Gilbert Winfield. Guests will be taught proper tasting techniques and sample 16 exceptional wines. Topics will include Old World vs New World styles, the major grape varieties (illustrated by fine wines from around the world), why some wines cost more than others, and how to tell the difference, wine and food matching – finishing with blind tastings to test your new knowledge.
During the day, break for a three-course very French lunch in Cote's exclusive private dining room, offering the chance to discuss wine further with Gilbert and your classmates, while enjoying some superb seasonal food.
