Simply African Food Ltd was established in 2002 by Donald Dodson. His passion was to share his love of South African Food with the people of the UK, since relocating here from South Africa in 1999. The family business started out at the local town market and remains a weekly tradition to this day. The business has since grown significantly, through the leadership and innovation of our MD Neil. We now produce our mouth-watering Biltong (and other products) in our state-of-the-art facility in Bordon, Hampshire. Although our business has grown, we haven’t lost our family values, and this is very much apparent in all aspects of our business.
Our beef Biltong brings the authentic flavours of South Africa and its healthy tradition. High in protein and low in fat means that this product is a fantastic snacking alternative to other savoury options. Our Biltong is made using only the best quality ingredients, traditional methods and recipes. All our beef is responsibly sourced from grass-fed British and Irish cattle.
