After spending three years in a corporate job and a backpacking adventure to India, Maria realised her dream was food. Growing up in a small village by the sea in Naples, Maria's childhood was filled with fresh food, such as: fresh fish from the sea, fresh cakes for breakfast made with lemons from the garden and the eggs of the day. All of this delicious food was lovingly made by her grandmother, mother and father. Maria is passionate about expressing love through food as her family have done, that is why she has named her business: Mamma Flora - the same name as her mum. Mamma Flora work with small scale Italian farmers who share their values of honesty and respect for nature.
