BoroughBox COVID-19 Update

Orders continue to be processed by ourselves and our marketplace sellers.

Orders with BoroughBox

Due to huge demand and reduced staff levels that we have implemented to keep our team safe and healthy, we are seeing some minor delays in processing orders from Our Collection. The majority of orders are still being processed and shipped within our usual timescales (i.e. dispatching orders placed before 2pm for next working day delivery) but there can be delays of up to 48 hours.

Most items ordered from Our Collection are shipped with DPD, who are maintaining generally good service. Understandably some deliveries see small delays within their network. We are all working together to minimise any disruption. 

Marketplace Orders

Most of our marketplace sellers are able to continue to ship orders and those unable have put their products out of stock. Our sellers ship with a variety of couriers and we are seeing some delays across all, especially Royal Mail who seems to be the hardest hit by the current situation. 

General Update from BoroughBox HQ.

We are incredibly proud to be serving you during the current Coronavirus pandemic and our team is working day and night to pick, pack and ship the huge amount of orders we're having. We have implemented social distancing measures and have some staff members working from home for their safety. Due to this, it is taking us a little longer to respond to customer queries than usual. 

We have temporarily directed our phone line to a voicemail for customers and are encouraging customers to get in touch via email so we can reply in the most efficient manner. If you have a question related to an order you have placed, then please use the 'Get in touch here' link on your order confirmation email to send an email directly to the seller and us. 

Doing our part:

In the background, we have been consolidating donated stock from the wonderful food and drink businesses across the country, which has gone to worthwhile projects such as City Harvest (feeding the vulnerable) and the NHS. Our doors are open for brands wishing to donate.

We know the last few weeks have been challenging for everyone across the UK but we're determined to do our bit and keep the food and drink supply chain moving. Please continue to support the independent sector and bear with us. Each order will be dispatched and packed with love.
