We despatch all orders on Tuesdays and Fridays first class with the royal mail. Please note we cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date.

In the Uk, you see banana in banoffee pie or banana bread. But really it doesn't have a huge place in desserts. In contrast in Asia, it's used extensively in desserts. from Southeast Asia to India, which is hardly surprising since it originated there.
Miso perhaps is much less commonly associated with dessert, but that's a misjustic to the beautiful and versatile ingredient. Although it's very salty, it still has a subtle sweetness to it. It works so well with the sweet indulgent flavour of banana. Its a flavour you have to try to beleive, but trust us you might become addicted.
For these brownies we use Hikari inaka miso (inaka means country or rustic). it has a rich umami strength, and deep salty flavour. The contrast the miso provides to combat the sometimes overwhelming sweet heaviness of banana, creates a perfectly balanced sweet and salty indulgence.

All our flavours are developed with the expertise and experience of a chef. Each flavour has it's own unique recipe to create a perfect balance of flavours. We only add what needs to be there to create the best experience for you.
