Using a traditional old recipe with ale and carrots, makes this a delicious moist round Christmas pudding.
Handmade in small batches from our kitchens in the heart of the Berkshire countryside, we steep the juicy currants, sultanas, raisins in Ale, then combine them with the carrots, spices and the rest of the ingredients.
We let each pudding steam for 6 hours, wrap and left to mature to perfection. The pudding is wrapped in muslin and finished off with a pretty ribbon
Reheat, take label and ribbon off pudding, place in a colander over steaming water cover for 100 mins. Microwave, take pudding out of all wrappings, 3 minutes on high. Make sure pudding is hot in the middle.
